Pictionary online

Draw it, guess it — everyone at once. One player draws, everyone else guesses — at the same time. The drawing appears live on every phone and computer in the room, and you can keep typing guesses until you get it.

A Pictionary turn on a phone: a drawing, the letter blanks and the guess box

What is Pictionary?

One player draws, everyone else guesses — at the same time. The drawing appears live on every phone and computer in the room, and you can keep typing guesses until you get it.

Everyone takes a turn as the drawer, so it's fair, fast and very easy to explain to new players.

How to play Pictionary

  1. Create a room, pick Pictionary and invite friends with the link.
  2. The drawer picks one of three secret words (or one is picked for them after 10 seconds).
  3. While they draw, everyone else types guesses. Wrong guesses cost nothing.
  4. A correct guess scores 300 points at the start of the turn, falling to 100 at the end. The drawer gets 50 points for every player who guesses it, up to 200.
  5. The word is revealed, and the next player draws automatically.

What you can set up

  • 3 to 16 players
  • Drawing time of 30, 60 or 90 seconds
  • Everyone draws 1, 2 or 3 times
  • Easy, medium or hard words
  • Optional letter hint halfway through each turn
  • Pens in 10 colours, three brush sizes, an eraser, undo and clear

How Rounzo rooms work

  1. Create a room — pick a nickname and an avatar. No account or download needed.
  2. Choose a game in the room's lobby. Everyone can vote for the one they want.
  3. Invite friends with the room link or its five-letter code.
  4. Play together, see the leaderboard, then play again or switch games — same room, same link.

Pictionary questions

How many people can play?

Between 3 and 16 players, and more people can join the room to watch. Everyone takes a turn to draw, so with a big group pick shorter turns to keep the game quick.

Can I draw on my phone?

Yes. The drawing board works with a finger, a stylus or a mouse, in the browser.

Can other players see the word?

No. Only the drawer sees the word. Everyone else sees blanks for its letters until they guess it or the turn ends.

How does scoring work?

Faster correct guesses score more: 300 points at the start of the turn down to 100 at the end. The drawer earns 50 points for each player who guesses correctly, up to 200 a turn.
